West Midlands Active Citizen Funds Available To Tackle Crime

The West Midlands Police and Crime Commission has confirmed that grants up to the value of £5,000 will be available for community groups in Walsall and surrounding areas.

The grants, totaling £180,000, are for those communities who are currently involved in projects that contribute towards community safety or crime prevention.

Priority will be given to community groups currently taking part in projects in a number of impact areas around the West Midlands, including St Matthews.

The commission is also accepting applications from those involved in crime prevention projects in Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull and Wolverhampton

The main areas of impact are detailed on the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner website, alongside the criteria for submitting an application.
