Walsall Council has launched a virtual assistant to help residents of the borough get answers to a variety of questions.
Named WALIS (Walsall’s Interactive Service), the chat bot icon can now be found on the bottom right-hand corner of all Council webpages.
The service is automated and allows users to type in what they are looking for help with, including bins and recycling, school admissions or Council Tax queries. Other categories include street cleaning and graffiti and planning and building control.
Essentially, the bot offers an easier way to traverse the Council’s webpages.
