Gina Bains has published Angel’s Journey, the follow-up to her 2018 book Angel and Her Companion, and it is already selling like hot cakes.

Gina, who works full time as a mental health carer with Select HealthCare Group, said she was proud to have finally published the novel after three years in the making.

Angel’s Journey Could Become A Short Film

The fantasy story follows Angel, a special woman who is an outcast but who has incredible powers. Although she faces many problems on her journey, she is determined that nothing should stop her from following her dreams.

The author is now looking for an animator to help turn the story into a short film.

“I want every child and grown up to know Angel’s story,” she said. “This is a really positive, feel-good story about not giving up.

“Once I finished the first book I started this second one and wrote it when I finished work. I work really long hours but writing helped me to stay positive and I’m really pleased at the reception it has had from people who enjoyed the first book.

“I sent the Queen a copy of the first book and received a lovely letter from Buckingham Palace and have just had another wonderful letter after I sent Her Majesty the second.

“I’m determined to get Angel’s Journey made into an animated film and am looking for people who can help me do that and I’m also finishing off my third novel, which I hope I’ll do this year.”

Gina also appeared on Kanshi TV, a West Bromwich based channel, to discuss her book.

Angel’s Journey is published by Maple Publishers and is available at Waterstones, WH Smith and Amazon.
