Seven fire crews attended a derelict property on Lichfield Street in Walsall last night, 31 August 2022.
The fire broke out at a property in between Bairstow Eves and S. J Motorcycles near to Morrisons and 40 firefighters from teams in Walsall, Aldridge, Bloxwich, Tipton, Bilston, Perry Barr and Aston were called to the scene.
Just after 5pm, firefighters were on the scene with seven fire engines and the blaze was under control by 6.15pm.
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Fire Service said: “It appears that the fire was started deliberately.”
Fire crews stayed on the scene until about 12.30am this morning.
