Following news of a new Aldi store coming to the Crown Wharf in Walsall, there’s now a fixed date for its grand opening.
The supermarket chain will employ 36 local residents and will be opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from gold medal Paralympian, Chris Skelly.
Local charities will also benefit from the opening of the new Walsall Aldi by getting access to surplus food from the store. Any interested charities can get more information by emailing aldi@neighbourly.com
The new store will open on Thursday, May 5 at 8am and is situated near to Smyths Toy Shop on the Crown Wharf retail park.
Other businesses due to open in this area of town include Ninja Warrior UK, Burger King and a ten-pin bowling alley.
