A £3 million tenpin bowling centre will open at the Crown Wharf in Walsall in the second half of 2022.
Situated in the former Mothercare and Peacock units, the centre will also feature an arcade area, escape rooms, karaoke booths, pool tables and a laser tag arena.
The centre is being constructed by the Ten Entertainment Group who operate other local centres in Dudley, Stafford and Telford as well as nationwide, and is expected to generate between 30-40 jobs locally.
The announcement follows news from the leisure operator of record-breaking profits following the relaxation of Covid restrictions compared to pre-pandemic levels.
According to ThisIsMoney: “The group’s revenues on a like-for-like basis were 29 per cent higher on the same time two years ago, while the week following Christmas saw it achieve its best-ever sales for the Christmas and New Year period.”
