Walsall baker Lara Mason has made an incredible cake sculptor after American singer-songwriter Jason Derulo saw her talents and requested the bespoke dessert.

The 35-year-old from Brownhills has already proven she has amazing skills in the kitchen after creating life-sized cakes of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as a tribute to the royal couple’s pregnancy in 2018, but this is the first time she’s been offered such mega money to create a custom cake.
Jason Derulo asked Laura to create a life-size edible sculpture of him after seeing her designs on the Lara Cake Anything Instagram page and they created a fun TikTok video of Laura receiving the initial call from the singer.
The design took Lara three days to craft, weighs 100kg and is made from red velvet, chocolate and plain sponge cake.
Since, Lara revealed the design, she has been inundated with requests.
