West Midlands Cycle Hire has reduced the price of hiring a bicycle in Walsall between certain hours of the day.
To encourage people to get to work, school or college, the usual unlock fee of £1 will be ditched between the hours of 6am and 11am each day until further notice.
Consequently, riders will only need to pay for the minutes they ride. The updated prices are as follows:
- 5 minutes – 25p
- 10 minutes – 50p
- 25 minutes – £.1.25
- 1 hour – £3
Walsall cycle locations include Park Street, High Street and Lichfield Road. To ride, you’ll first need to download the Beryl cycle hire app.
