Europe’s leading patchwork and quilting event returns to Birmingham NEC from 1-4 August 2024 with a bumper line-up of features that include special guest appearances from international quilting artists (including Jenny Doan!), hundreds of craft brands, an incredible workshop, a talks and lectures programme and much more!
Visitors can look forward to spectacular galleries by some of the world’s leading quilt artists, including Amy Pabst, Caroline Oneta and Sarah Hibbert. This year’s exhibition from The Quilt Collection boasts an impressive collection of late eighteenth and early nineteenth-century pieces, several of which have never been publicly exhibited before.
New for 2024, a special retrospective exhibition will feature a selection of “Visitors’ Choice’ winning quilts from The Festival of Quilts competition from the last two decades, giving visitors the opportunity to view some of their favourite quilts once again.
The Festival of Quilts also offers Europe’s biggest workshop and talks programme featuring international tutors, including Jor Cunningham and Gregory Jay Barner.
More than 200 specialist craft retailers will be on site, with exhibitors from across the globe, including Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Japan.

Returning to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) Birmingham from Tuesday 13 until Sunday 18 February, the 2024 Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show will see “happy campers” gearing up to hit the roads and head off the beaten track.

What’s On At BBC Gardener’s World Live 2022?
Celebrating its 30th year at the popular Birmingham venue, the event will feature an array of aspiring show gardens, inspiring tips and advice from green-fingered experts and hundreds of artisan producers.
Wander around the Floral Marquee filled with award-winning displays, including some that have been inspired by popular BBC TV shows. Keep an eye out this year for the special Peaky Blinder inspired feature, which features antique artefacts from the Black Country Living Museum.
